I think they are essential. I always carry a pocket moleskin and an unassuming clip board filled with scratch paper for drawing strangers in a jiffy. I like the clipboard because theres never any pause, I dont have to open and find the page. just start. I decided to tell that to you because the post was empty so theres on sketchbooks from me hahaha :D
